GIT Hosts “Bangkok Jewelry Week 2025” for the Second Consecutive Year

Showcasing Thailand’s Gem and Jewelry Excellence on the Global Stage

The Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (Public Organization), or GIT, reaffirms its commitment to advancing Thailand’s gem and jewelry industry toward sustainability and international prominence with the return of “Bangkok Jewelry Week 2025: The Gem and Jewelry Road.” Now in its second year, the event was held from October 15–19, 2025, at the Evening Town Event Space, 1st Floor, The Old Siam Plaza, Bangkok.

This year’s edition, themed “Awaken the Giant, Awaken the Space, Awaken the Greatness,” aims to reimagine Bangkok as a “City of Gems and Jewelry.” It highlights Thai wisdom and cultural heritage under the concept “Thailand: Land of Jewel,” presenting the country’s craftsmanship and creativity to the world.

Driving Thailand’s Creative Economy and Soft Power

“Bangkok Jewelry Week 2025” serves as a dynamic platform that brings together government agencies, private sector leaders, manufacturers, designers, entrepreneurs, and young talents to strengthen collaboration and promote Thailand’s creative economy. The event underscores the nation’s efforts to elevate its jewelry craftsmanship—rooted in artistry, precision, and local identity—into a global benchmark of excellence.

Thailand remains one of the world’s leading gem and jewelry hubs, generating over 700 billion baht annually and providing livelihoods to thousands, particularly in historic districts such as Bang Rak, Samphanthawong, and Phra Nakhon, which have long been at the heart of the country’s jewelry trade and craftsmanship.
