Oroarezzo's 45th edition closes with steady overall attendance, international visitors up 6%

Consistent with its international positioning, the Oroarezzo 2026 trade fair showcased Italian goldsmithing and jewellery manufacturing by forging business connections with established markets and providing guidance to compete in emerging ones. The commitment of the 350 exhibiting companies- 84% of them domestic- together with the strategic direction of Italian Exhibition Group, underpinned the success of the 45th edition in Arezzo, which closed with a 6% rise in international attendance and visitors from 110 countries (+10% on the previous edition). Total visits were in line with 2025 despite the complex international context. A total of 364 overseas buyers were hosted in delegations from 59 countries, thanks to collaboration with Agenzia ICE and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, alongside attendees from Italy (more than 100 hosted buyers) and other markets. The United States and the Middle East- key destinations for Italy’s sector exports- were among those present. The most represented markets included Turkey, Poland, and Spain, along with increased participation from African countries such as Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, and South Africa. South America, Asia, and Oceania also recorded growth.

The inaugural edition of the international congress ‘The Global Outlook 2026’ offered companies a practical overview of new global scenarios, highlighting opportunities, challenges, and prospects in emerging markets and identifying the strategic areas on which to build growth and an international presence. IEG- together with Confindustria Federorafi, AFEMO, the association of manufacturers of machinery and technologies for the gold and jewellery industry, MAECI, and Agenzia ICE- made the event available to the industry as a tool to capture new flows of demand and support export diversification.

IEG will reconvene the Arezzo community for the 6th Italian Jewellery Summit in December 2026, while Oroarezzo is scheduled for its 46th edition in May 2027. Meanwhile, the IEG Jewellery Agenda continues with: The Precious Sea in Torre del Greco (May 21); SIJE in Singapore (July 9-12); Vicenzaoro September together with T.Gold (September 4-8), and VO Vintage (September 4-7) with the inauguration of the new pavilion in the heart of the Vicenza exhibition centre.

The September edition of Vicenzaoro will also host the CIBJO International Congress, celebrating 100 years of the World Jewellery Confederation. In October there will also be the GEM Forum in Valenza, before JGTD in Dubai (October 27-29).
